Blue light suppressing sleep is exponentially worse than in 2010. LED lights are POWERFUL blue light emitters. This strongly suppresses melatonin production and the sleep and hormone cycles. LED Streetlights alone cause a 50% increase in breast cancer, 105% increase in prostate cancer, and an 18% increase in GI and rectal cancers. Indoor use (now ubiquitous) STRONGLY suppresses the circadian rhythm. LED lights as a result CAUSE cancer! Since 2016, there has been a rapid linear rise in breast cancer! This is caused by the shift to LED lights. It will get much worse. There is a lag in cancer incidence, and a lag in reporting as well. So even though the real rates began rising in 2017, we only barely saw that in 2022. Within 5 years expect the number one cause of death in the US to be hormone sensitive cancers (breast, prostate, GI, rectal, and many skin cancers). That despite increasing death rates from secondary diseases from the pandemic. Those will be the number 2 cause of death. Well, at least until the immune dysfunction from repeated infections sinks in, then they will swap positions. Incandescent lights are no longer being made and are now rare as hens teeth. Worse, through the same mechanism, they also cause tamoxifen treatment to fail. The mitochondrial melatonin is triggered by infrared light. As you noted the sun is rich in IR. So were incandescent lamps. But the idiots who run the world decided that was "waste" heat. As a result, LED lights emit no IR and often no red either. So body energy is sapped using LED lights.

Thank you Doctor for this information. I have a question, I have low stomach acid production which has resulted in SIBO and Gastritis. I've been taking melatonin due to lack of sleep because of these stomach issues. Is the melatonin actually causing my stomach to continue to produce low stomach acid? I've been doing everything to increase my stomach acid...how much of an influence does it have? I take 2 mg every night. Should I stop? Thank you.

I’ve been doing cpap for about 2 months now, has been great for me, still getting used to it though. I wonder if the weight gain is a physiological thing. I’m not overweight but I know that there is a lot of pressure put on sleep apnea patients to lose weight, and once their cpap “fixes” their sleep apnea they no longer worry about weight as they’ve found a solution to their issues

In 6 months of being a new CPAP user, I have gained enough weight that none of my clothes fit despite being active and eating the same way I've eaten for years. I've always been lean & I've never had any weight issues. I spoke to my sleep doctor about it today & she said that the CPAP should not be causing the weight gain, but she agreed to refer me to a sleep dentist for an oral appliance. Thank you for discussing this issue when other doctors will not!

I never heard of NAC before. QUESTION: I buy my supplements from Vimergy because they don't have any additives. They don't sell NAC but they do sell glutathione. Can I take glutathione instead of NAC? Would that be just as good? If not, how can I tell which companies sell good quality NAC supplements?

My mother was always overweight, fat and eat everything, took medicines for diseases and conditions her family member had but she never had, for example filaria and glaucoma. she dreaded cooking and her cooked food of the same item was never same. There were occasions for example, we go to icecream parlor, she would eat each flavor of icecream. Her labs and annual exams always better than all of us, young or old. She passes away at age of 96. My my father’s aunt became widow at very early age, she lived like a monk. Two set of white cloths that cover most of body, head shaved clean. She lived in house made of cow dunk, mud and rice husk. Roof of her house was made of wood and clay tiles. Flour of the house was made of cow dunk, rice husk and mud. There were wood windows. At night she lit a kerosene lamp that would produce lot of shoot. Her diet was whatever grow in her land. Rice, lentils, mangoes, wild berries and vegetables that grow in, over and around fences made of thorns. She would drink one cup of tea in the morning, rice and lentil soup with spices (or kadai made of fresh buttermilk with spices), either a spoonful of mango pickle or one spicy lentils cracker in dinner and wheat or millet flat bread with spiced lentils or seasonal vegetables sent by neighbors. We never found her even sneezing (forget about fever or any disease). She never went out of her front yard (or back yard). One day she passed peacefully. She lived over hundred years. Any explanation except “oh, it’s strong genes”? 🤔 I appreciate that many medicines are developed for communicable diseases and health conditions such as diabetes as well as surgery for broken bones and other painfully bothering conditions. But most of the “recommendations” and pre-emotive treatments are just BS.

Really fantastic video. Two things I would note are: NAC - has been shown to promote tumour growth in mice but probably has anti-cancer properties too and so people may wish to research this one more. Melatonin - if you supplement on melatonin longer term this will inhibit your body's ability to produce melatonin by itself. The focus should probably therefore be to find ways to increase melatonin naturally e.g. morning sun exposure as opposed to supplementing. FWIW I'll probably still do a trial with NAC just in case it's a game changer for me. Will be giving some of the others a try too!

We don’t have to keep taking antibiotics! The only reason people take them is because Drs keep prescribing them….knowing (or should do) how detrimental they are - especially when they’re they’re prescribing them for conditions that are well known ‘not to respond to antibiotics’.

About 35 years ago, there was fully professional, documented, expert level scientific research with conclusive proof that (1) Dietary excess is NOT the cause of obesity. Overindulgence including sweets and junk food does NOT make a person fat (2) Dietary reductions do NOT produce a corresponding, substantial or permanent loss of weight. (3) Weight loss via exercise requires an intensive, demanding regimen of long term, sustained and highly vigorous physical exertion what produces only marginal, temporary loss of weight and is not an effective remedy for obesity (4) Casual to moderate exercise typical of an active person produces no effective or measurable loss of weight (5) A person's weight is established via heredity and CANNOT be effectively or permanently altered to suit a desired level of reduction

Interesting. I am just twigging onto this. Here's the long story. As a teenager, I had bad lockjaw - had wisdom teeth taken out, joints flushed, jaw wired shut for about 10 days. I was always lightweight until my mid-late 20s. in mid 20s got lockjaw again, treated with biteplate. In My 30s - lockjaw again (showed up as dislocation in xray), biteplate fixed it again. By this time I was constantly complaining to my doctor of being tired all the time (this continued for about a decade and was told diet and exercise). By this time I was overweight/obese. Every discussion with Dr was around diet and exercise - I couldn't understand why my appetite was insatiable - particularly after I quit smoking. Then in late 30s blood pressure spiked really high and stayed there. Finally Dr ordered sleep test - severe OSA (78 AHI). Got Cpap machine, have had excellent compliance ever since - nightly AHIs under 1 usually. Still had trouble losing weight for the 13 years since. Recently when I saw my sleep dr I asked him to check my septum - yep, bent and small - hence why I was a mouth breather and nasal masks never worked. constricted upper pallet as well. My conclusion - my head shape probably means I always had sleep apnea. Multiple Drs treated the symptoms but never bothered to look at the physical construct of nose and throat (how does a maxillofacial surgeon not notice this?). I conclude that weight gain was probably initially driven by sleep apnea and weight loss is harder on CPAP for me as I end up carb craving. In short, Sleep apnea and the overly specialization and check in the box, revolving door medicine approach has really not helped me much at all. I have had serious attempts at weight loss, however it is much harder for me and now I think I see why. Now I'm Type 2 diabetic and trying to convince Dr to get me on semiguciazide(?) or something similar to give me an extra hand with weight loss. In conclusion, I think Sleep apnea leads to weight gain, but treating sleep apnea with Cpap solves many problems but it does not help with weight loss after the fact - in fact, I suspect carb craving may well be a biproduct of Cpap - maybe due to body being accustomed to stress at night and suddenly to having the stresses - I don't know. To be clear - without CPAP I have no doubt that I would not be amongst the living right now.

Omg I think this video may have just saved my life. My throat occasionally "flips" upward when I inhale which stops my inhalation for a split second like a stutter. Then, (too many nights for 20+ years) when I lay down, many nights, the second I fall asleep I jump up involuntarily trying to get air. No strange noises like a laryngospasm though, so I am now 99.9 percent sure it's my epiglottitis! If anyone else has these issues, please know you're not alone and don't give up looking for an answer!!! I think I just found mine after 20+ years of suffering, guessing, and after the last year and a half of hardcore research I finally feel I found this diamond of a video in the rough. Thank you doctor!!!
